Racial Benefits
Adaptability: The humans gain 24 more skill points at character creation.
Indomitable Will: Humans are very strong headed creatures, but easily manipulated. Anytime a human is afflicted with a negative status that causes the loss of character control, the effect is reduced by 2 turns to a minimum of 1.
Fate or Fortune: Humanity seems to be ruled by the hand of fate or maybe it’s just fortune favors the bold. The human may choose one extra Perk at character creation.

People of Earth
Humans are some of the most genetic diverse creatures in the galaxy with an incredibly wide variety of features ranging from the color of the skin, eye color, body type, and facial features. However, humans are known from more than just their diversity among their people. Mostly, humans are known for their tenacity, headstrong nature, and willfulness in the face of adversity. The only people in the galaxy that were not born on their current capital world, humans have adapted to the rapid pace of galactic civilization as best as one can imagine.
Appearance
Humans vary widely in appearance from height, to weight, skin color, hair color, eye color, and a number of other factors. They are the only race in the galaxy that grows hair only on the head, while males grow facial hair, though it is observed that not all males grow facial hair at the same speed or fullness. It is also observed that some males grow excessive hair on other parts of the body as well. They are also one of the only species to have obvious aural and olfactory organs on the face. Human eye color is predominantly brown, but can be gray, green, hazel, or blue. More rare eye colors exist as well. They are also the only species to have a condition known as heterochromia. Hair color can range from black, to brown, blonde, red, and other more rare colors. That said, humans are also the only race to suffer from baldness or hair thinning later in life.
Personality
Entire studies have been done documenting human personalities. While it is common for the other races to have outliers in their race's predisposition, humans seem to have no predisposition to one personality type or another. Humans are known to be kind but also cruel. Similarly, humans have been observed being incredibly generous but also incredibly selfish. While human behaviors vary wildly, it is more common to find humans with more positive outlooks and personalities as human life has improved exponentially since becoming a galactic civilization. It is curious to note that while humans tend to have some of the shortest lifespans in the galaxy, they tend to live and act like they have the longest. They have a propensity to take risks, do things detrimental to their health, and seem, at times, to lack any sense of self preservation. Now, the most striking and unique thing about humans is their distaste for some of their own kind. While it is not uncommon for members of the same race to not see eye to eye based on certain factors, humans seem to take into account factors that have utterly no meaning from skin color, dress style, religion, height, weight, sexual orientation or gender, even among members of the same family. Thankfully, these atrocious behaviors seem to be on the decline in recent times.
Pathers
Humans are by far the most common Pathers in the galaxy and are largely credited with founding pather teams and really the entire pather organization throughout the entire galaxy. Some of the most famous pathers of all time were human and are well known throughout the galaxy for feats of strength, bravery, and skill. Humans do not tend to gravitate towards any one pather job but instead find what they are good at and focus almost solely on that.
