When you look at Xentheium, you see power. You see danger. You see only what the
physical world allows your primitive mind to see. When I look at Xentheium, I see the
eons that star lived condensed into a crystalline lattice of infinite possibilities.
I see a future. One, the star blood willing, you will not be a part of. -- Primarch Korik Xen Funishia.
The Star Blooded
Elegant, proud, and graceful, the Kronadran are considered by many the masters of not only Xentheium but the very stars themselves. The first race to discover and unlock the secrets of using Xentheium, the Kronadran have the largest fleets, the largest claim to the galaxy, and the largest civilization, stretching from one end of the galaxy to the other. Having the ability to pass on genetic memory, the Kronadran have a dark past and, to some, an even darker future.
Appearance
To help understand the appearance of the Kronadran, one must have some understanding of the earth myth of 'grays'. Some early humans believed they were being visited by a race of small, gray humanoid aliens. While this is false, it is merely a coincidence the Kronadran greatly resemble these gray aliens, though much taller, more supple, lithe, and graceful than the pudgy gray counterparts some humans swear to have seen. Tall and thing, with long, slender fingers and limbs, with a thin torso and body, the Kronadran have some of the least genetic diverse people in the galaxy. With large eyes that are almost always black, the Kronadran have found ways to distinguish themselves through clothing, jewelry, necklaces, and other accessories. Completely hairless, with no noses or ears to be seen, Kronadran instead absorb these senses through their eyes. Almost all Kronadran are gray skinned though some will with patches or spots of black, blue, dark green, or violet.
Personality
Haughty is a fine word to describe the typical Kronadran behavior. Proud to a fault, these mighty people believe they will, one day, inherit the galaxy and all in it for themselves, being the one true ruler of the stars. Because of this, Kronadran are famously difficult to get along with as they largely view almost all other species beneath them. If they had noses, they would constantly be looking down it at everyone. Humorless and strict, the Kronadran society allows little room for joy and happiness. If your actions do not further the goals of the Hegemony, you are lesser. This is not to say that every Kronadran is insufferable. In current times, many Kronadran have abandoned the toxic pride of their forebears and tried to embrace new ways of life by interacting with other species. They try to learn but most often, a remark that is seen as simply a harmless comment by the Kronadran are deeply wounding words by others. Still, there are many Kronadran that seek friends among the rest of the galaxy, even if their very nature makes it difficult to do so.
Pathers
The rarest among all pathers, Kronadran almost never become pathers and if they do, it is only with other Kronadrans that do not consider themselves pathers. Even more rare still are Kronadran pathers among interspecies groups. Even they do become pathers, they are most often Psionics or Mentalists and very rarely Sharpshooters.
