    Racial Benefits
Exposure: Due to their already advanced state of Xenthium exposure, the Xen Child is immune to any Xenthium exposure or poisoning. This does not make them immune to Xenthium weaponry but it does make them immune to most secondary effects of Xenthium weaponry.
Savant: Xen Children are naturally drawn to a single behavior or skill. As such, any skill, chosen at character creation, is always considered double both in skill points applied to it and the roll made on it.
Gifted: The Xen Child may choose any Perk at character creation, regardless of prerequisites.

We are people. As much as you want us to not be, we are still people. We deserve, no,
we demand respect. Do think we asked to be born this way? Do you think anyone would want
to be born this way? Fifteen years and most die before then because of tumors. We want
citizenship. We deserve that much. -- Miles Billingsworth, UHR Senator of March

    The Star Children
Many words could be used to describe the ill-fated Xen Children. Abominations. Monsters. Creature. However, they are more than that. The Xen Child are, in reality, a mutated form of human suffering from a unique form of Xentheium exposure that occurred while in the womb. Most do not make it as far as birth but those that do grow incredibly quickly, being on the intellectual level of an adult human by just two years old. The downside to this, of course, is that they are all hideously deformed. Despite the hang they've been dealt, many Xen Children prefer to look on the bright side of life.

    Appearance
Most Xen Children share one defining feature. They are all, by the standards of most other people, hideously ugly. They look roughly human and share their features but there are signs that point to their unfortunate condition. They usually have large heads, large eyes, tend to be overweight, though this is often due to tumors fighting for space in their bodies. Their limbs are often non functional but the lucky ones still have pudgy or short limbs or legs that only kind of work or fingers that are fused together at the joints. Still others have patches of skin that sag over other parts of their body. As they age, these deformities tend to become even more severe and start to make just living a chore. Many resort to mechanical assistance for mobility or speech as their body begins to break down.

    Personality
Much like their human counterparts, Xen Children tend to have very extreme personality traits thought this is augmented by their augmented brains. One thing that sets them apart from humans is the tendency to develop unique personality quirks such as talking to people who aren't there, the complete inability to learn another person's name, being entirely unable to pronounce certain words, or just being obnoxiously happy, sad, angry, or excited all of the time. This has made it so Xen Children are approached with trepidation as one is unsure of how they will interact. They could launch into an hour long explanation of the chemical composition of plastic or try to bite your face. It is because of these sometimes humorous, sometimes dangerous personality quirks that Xen Child have endeared themselves to many races throughout the galaxy.

    Pathers
Because of the fact they are not recognized as a separate race by the UHR and, therefore, are not afforded the same rights as adult citizens of the UHR, despite not having the mental capacity of children, Xen Children often seek a way to free themselves of the UHR. One of these ways is Pathers. Due to their short life, Xen Children pathers often spend their whole lives in a path before their friends find them deceased one morning. They often become Scientists, Inventors, Mentalists, or rarely, Juggernauts.
